There are some of the best caves in France within an hour of Lafargue – Lacave, discovered in 1902, Cougnac with its Magdalenian paintings and Pech Merle are truly amazing. The Gouffre de Padirac is fabulous too, and has been likened to visiting the centre of the earth!
If golf is your thing, then nearby is Golf des Roucous. A 9-hole course set in a wooded valley, which suits players of all standards. A driving range, putting green, tennis court, swimming pool and the inviting clubhouse are all part of the experience.
The Lot is liberally criss-crossed by a network of walking, riding and mountain-biking paths and tracks. We are situated within a couple of kilometres of the famous pilgrim route, Le Chemin de Saint Jacques de Compostelle, and we can point out several other routes, some of which take in a bar along the way.
